Founded in 1946 and set in the very heart of the Norfolk Broads, Martham Boats is a traditional boat yard that hires traditional wooden cruisers, boats and motor boats on the River Thurne.

Set in idyllic Norfolk Broads countryside, we offer a wide range of self catering accommodation from riverside bungalows to the hire of traditional hand crafted timber Broads Cruisers and Sailing Yachts.

Most of our traditional wooden boats were designed and built here at Martham by our dedicated team of Boat Builders back in the 1940's and 1950's, and they have been constructed in a way that harmonises with the romantic views of the Norfolk Broads, the Suffolk Broads and their surrounding wildlife.
