This campaign is about Human beings, Democracy, UNHCR, Refugees, The Iraqis,
Islam, Kurds, Human rights, Respect, Money, Donations, Angelina Jolie,
Pavarotti, Giorgio Armani, Donors, Peace, History, Campaigns and about you if
you care about these words.

Hi there,

I am SAM, an Iraqi refugee living in Lebanon at the moment; I have spent the
last 10 years of my life as a refugee registered with the UNHCR in Beirut. The
last 4 years, I have spent as an activist for peace and human rights (especially
refugees and asylum seekers) on the Internet; I'm also books author and ebooks
publisher. I have launched many campaigns to improve our situation as refugees
in Lebanon and hopefully bring more understanding to our problems worldwide. I
helped make many changes and improvements at the UNHCR office in Beirut; I used
the Internet as the field for my activities (you can read more about that in my
free ebook 'MY CAMPAIGNS'). All my ebooks are free and could be download from my
sites.

This is my newest campaign, it's about the illegal and humiliating actions of
the UNHCR, who using photos of refugees as banners and human-buttons to collect
money. This is an abuse of the dignity and humanity of the refugees and must
stop immediately and a clear public apology present by The United Nations High
Commissioner for Refugees. My friends, I am talking about the pictures you can
see here: http://haywired.com/unhcrlebanon/human-buttons.htm

Also you can read my new campaign 'Urgent, we need smile' here:
http://unhcrlebanon.arcadepages.com/smile.html

For more info about UNHCR and life of refugees you can read my free ebooks. I
invite you as fellow humans and members of the world community to support my
campaign by reading my article on my site and see the human-buttons. The
campaign is to support and improve the UNHCR http://www.unhcr.ch especially
after the last scandals in the UN and UNHCR, just for example:
http://www.mizzima.com/archives/news-in-2005/news-in-april/12-April05-22.htm

"We make demonstration and fast because the UNHCR office in Cairo did nothing
for our problem..." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/4440730.stm

Together we will build better world.

You could reach me fast via this form:

and if you like to know more about me, you can google for my name 'osam

I admit I haven't heard of Tom D'Angora before, but I love him
already--because right on the FRONT PAGE of his website is this
proclamation:
March 13th: MARLA SCHAFFEL.who should've won the Tony

Divas I've Done to Play Upstairs at Studio 54; Schaffel, Days, Cates and
Pedi to Guest
http://www.playbill.com/news/article/91600.html
By Andrew Gans
March 8, 2005

Bistro Award winner Tom D'Angora will bring his acclaimed evening of diva
worship, Divas I've Done, to Upstairs at Studio 54.D'Angora - who will
release his debut CD, "The Pink Album," on March 20 - will play Sunday
nights at the famed New York City landmark beginning March 13 at 7:30 PM.
The show features direction by Michael Duling, piano accompaniment by Tracy
Stark and back-up vocals by Kate Pazakis, Christine Gonzales, Noel Cody and
Cara LaGreen.

Divas I've Done celebrates the women of the musical theatre who have meant
the most to D'Angora, the young singer-actor who has been seen in Naked Boys
Singing. Among the women saluted in his show are Liza Minnelli, Ellen
Greene, Maya Days, Marla Schaffel, Fran Drescher, Princess Diana and the
women of "The Golden Girls." D'Angora's evening includes tributes, original
parodies, standards and stories. One highlight is a parody of Little Shop of
Horrors' "Somewhere That's Green," entitled "Somewhere That's Pink."

The upcoming shows at Upstairs at Studio 54 will also boast a guest artist
each Sunday. Drama Desk winner Marla Schaffel will join D'Angora March 13;
Maya Days will join the diva-fest March 20, followed by Wicked's Kristy
Cates on March 27 and Forbidden Broadway's Christine Pedi April 3.

Upstairs at Studio 54 is located in Manhattan at 254 West 54th Street.
Ticked, priced at $40, are available by calling (212) 307-4100 or by
visiting www.ticketmaster.com.

**************

LEAVE IT TO 'DIVAS'
http://www.playbill.com/celebritybuzz/article/83051.html
Imagine Jack McFarland from TV's "Will & Grace" doing his campy cabaret act,
Just Jack, dedicated to Liza Minnelli, Ellen Greene, Maya Days and Marla
Schaffel - only ten times funnier. That'll give you an idea of Tom
D'Angora's
deliriously delightful show, Divas I've Done. He's joined by a bevy of
backup gals - Noel Cody, Christine Gonzales, Stephanie Harwood and Alex
Kissel - and he's returning Dec. 28 and Jan. 25 at 8 PM and Jan. 27 at 9 PM
to Don't Tell Mama.

D'Angora has been described as "the love child of Paul Lynde and Charles
Nelson Reilly" by David Hurst in Show Business Weekly, while Margaret Cho
simply says, "Tom is brilliant!" In Divas I've Done, this self confessed
"show queen" toasts Minnelli by chiming in with "Ring Them Bells" and
salutes Jane Eyre star Schaffel with a spoof of "If I Were a Rich Man"
retitled "If She Won the Tony." But the show's highlight is his tribute to
Greene: "Somewhere That's Pink," a sweet and inspired parody of "Somewhere
That's Green" from Little Shop of Horrors. In it, he fantasizes about
domestic bliss with his boyfriend in "a co-op of our own."

There's something so fun and infectious about D'Angora's devotion to his
divas. The 6-foot-3 actor from Boston boasts, "You can't buy a better drug
on the street than seeing Liza live." And he was so amazed by Days that he
saw her in Aida 32 times and brought her three-dozen roses every time.
D'Angora,
24, realizes his obsession is "absurd and funny. I'm like Gypsy [Rose Lee].
No one laughs at me, because I laugh first." And what do his divas think?
Days says, "I loved Tom's show and belly-laughed a lot. His conviction [as
an actor] is so amazing. He's awesome!" And Schaffel says, "I had the best
time. It was so much fun, and Tom's hysterical!"

D'Angora first became infatuated with soap opera divas at age seven. He
adds, "My dad's a hairdresser who runs Diva Salon - that can explain a lot
right there. He's in great shape, he's a pairs figure skater and he's very
gay. Mom's straight. They were high school sweethearts, and I came out of
that. She was a total fag hag. They're divorced, but they're still very good
friends like Will and Grace, and they're the coolest parents."

As a kid, D'Angora was teased for being fat and gay. At 18, "I weighed about
320. I put myself on a 1,000-calorie-a-day diet, so I ate a lot of salads
and lost over 100 pounds." He wound up in such good shape that he starred in
Naked Boys Singing in Provincetown: "I had a blast; I was even offered a
porn movie, but I turned it down."

Meantime, D'Angora's day job is working at the TKTS booth, flyering for
Forbidden Broadway and Little Shop ("I wish they brought back Ellen to play
Audrey"). That's where he met his boyfriend of two years, Michael Duling,
22, who directed Divas: "We used to go clubbing and pick up guys, but now
musical theatre is our life. We stay home and listen to Gypsy or rent Annie.
And we've talked about the wedding. I want Maya Days to sing 'Listen to My
Heart' and Kelly Clarkson will fly in to do 'A Moment Like This.' It's gonna
be fabulous!"

I think you're right, KKR. The list member in question has been placed on
probation. Sorry about that. Hope nobody was too offended or inconvenienced
by his/her postings.

It's great that the list is chatting nowadays!

NEW YORK (Reuters) - "Superman" actor Christopher Reeve, paralyzed when he fell
from a horse nine years ago, has died in a New York hospital of heart failure,
his publicist said on Monday.

Reeve, 52, went into a coma on Saturday when he suffered a heart attack during
treatment for an infected pressure wound and died in Northern Westchester
Hospital on Sunday afternoon without regaining consciousness, publicist Wesley
Combs told reporters.

Reeve's wife Dana issued a statement thanking "the millions of fans around the
world who have supported and loved my husband over the years."

Reeve, confined to a wheelchair since his riding accident in 1995, had in recent
years campaigned for the rights of the disabled and for stepped-up research into
the treatment of spinal cord injuries.

Reeve's family asked that donations be made in his honor to the Christopher
Reeve Paralysis Foundation, formed in 1999 to boost collaboration between
experts working on treatments for spinal cord damage.

An accomplished rider who owned several horses, Reeve suffered multiple injuries
including two shattered neck vertebrae when he was thrown from his horse at an
equestrian event in Commonwealth Park in Virginia.

Doctors initially predicted that he would never have any feeling or movement
below his head. But his foundation's Web site, www.ChristopherReeve.org, said he
had experienced a degree of recovery that his doctors considered "remarkable."
