FRIDAY/SATURDAY

Arrival time for the May 19, 2007 show with host
Zach Braff & MG Maroon 5 was at 10:31 A.M. We were #7
& #8 in the standby line. It was actually quite chilly
for the middle of May. Felt like it was March. We
still kept to our standby routine by going to the
bathroom & eating/drinking. Zach was #1. Yay Zach!!!
Sometime during the afternoon Natalie & Chelsea
stopped by for a short visit. I gave Natalie a goodbye
card since she will be going back to New Zealand in a
couple of weeks. Kat came out with someone & talked to
the line about things. She had glasses on which made
her look older & professional. I didn't know what was
going on until Zach texted me and told me about the
new rules. One of them that bothered me the most was
not being about to walk up & down the line talking to
your friends. That's what we are partly there for is
to hang out and make new friends. I mean, afterall you
are spending 24 plus hours with these people. Louis &
I went to dinner at McDonalds. After eating we went
back to the line of course. I texted with Jerry for
awhile. I also noticed that Zach left like he told me
he would so that made Kelly #1. YAY Kelly!!! At 8:30
P.M. Louis & I went to the restroom & Starbucks.
Starbucks had two busloads of customers so if felt
like it took us awhile. Then Starbucks decided to gyp
me & only give me half a cup of my drink. At 9:05 P.M.
Jason Sudeikis came out. He was sort of mobbed. His
car happened to be by where I was sitting. I told him
it was my birthday & I'm 31. He got all excited & said
Happy Birthday. He then said it was also Tina Fey's
birthday. I said Yep. At 9:58 P.M. Fred Armisen & Bill
Hader came out at the same time. About half the line
goes over and mobs them. I think this is why Kat
doesn't want anyone waiting for the cast under the
marquee although this was by the barricades. Bill &
Fred went up & down the line. Louis told them it was
my birthday. At 11:30 P.M. we went to the restroom.
When we got back I played games & checked my email. We
used the restroom again at 2:00 A.M. Then we talked to
Lisa & Dominic. I then went to my chair & slept until
5:00 A.M. At this time we had breakfast. Ticket time
arrived at 7:00 A.M. Louis got #5 air for Lauren & I
got #6 air ticket for Linda.

SATURDAY NIGHT

We went to Rock Center & ate at Subway because of
the rain. Then we went to Ben & Jerry's. We sat in the
concourse for awhile. I checked my email. We got to
NBC at 5:30 P.M. Stood around & chatted with Leila,
Trevor & Arlene. Louis & I went up for dress. 65
standbys got into dress. After dress we went down &
gave the tickets to Linda & Lauren. We also chatted
with them, Arlene, Zach, Lisa, Dominic & Emily. Linda
& Lauren gave me a Starbucks gift card for my
birthday. Thank You Lauren & Linda for the nice gift.
Louis & I went up for the LIVE show. 96 standbys got
into the air show. Brian Williams & family were in the
audience. After the LIVE show we went down & tried our
usual thing. It was a madhouse. I saw everyone except
for Darrell Hammond. Zach Braff came through the
lobby. I also saw Sarah Chalke & John Krasinksky.
Linda pointed Amy Miles out to me. We chatted with
Bill Hader, Andy Samberg, Seth Meyers, Jason Sudeikis
& Will Forte. I told them to have a nice Summer & I
would see them next Season. I joked around with Will.
He was holding a bag & I asked him if that bag was for
me. He looks in the bag & then he acts like hes shy.
He gives me the cutest look & then he goes Nah I want
to keep it. Kieran stopped by for a bit. He told us he
went to the party and said it was lame. After everyone
left we stayed longer.

PARTY TIME...OR IS IT?

After everyone left we went down the hall on the
50th street side to go to the party. I told Louis that
I think we were on the wrong side & that this was the
cast members entrance. As we got up to the security
guard guarding the pathway to the entrance she told us
we couldn't go down there. This was a Security guard
that didn't know Louis so he tried to explain things
to her that in the past we always went in without an
invitation. She kept telling us to go to the other
side. We just stood there awhile. She gave others a
hard time too & someone actually told her that this
was wrong. Will Forte came by & Louis asked him if he
could check for us. Will said Sure & he came back to
us & told us that they are sending someone over. We
thanked Will & he gave us that cute nod & smile. Some
guy that looked like he was only in his early 20s came
over & said that he was so sorry but they are full &
crowded. He said he has seen us many times & that he
is very sorry. [Yeah Right] His name was Matt. So we
said OK & just walked out the 50th street side. We
didn't even bother to try the other side which means
we didn't try hard enough. We walked out to the Plaza
to hang out with the others. I was just as happy doing
it this way because its not so noisy. Natalie &
Chelsea were there too but they left after awhile.
Natalie told us about Emily getting into the party.
Trevor got her & Leila in. The others hanging outside
the party were Vanessa, Zach, Dominic, Lisa, Jillian &
her friends. There were a few collectors there too for
Zach Braff. We had fun looking overhead. We played
Let's See Who We Can Spot. Kenan came out of the party
so I went up to him & asked him if he was coming back
next Season. He said Yes. He later went back down to
the party. Vanessa left later. From overhead I saw
Alix, Bill Hader, Emily, Leila, Trevor, Kat & a few of
the NBC workers. I think I also saw Ashton Kutcher. At
around 3:30 A.M. we got tired of standing there so we
went inside to keep warm & wait for people to come
out. Lisa & Zach hung out with us. The only people we
saw was Adam Levine from Maroon 5, Andy Samberg with
Akiva Shaeffer, Emily, Trevor & Leila. Emily spotted
us & came over. She told us that Trevor knows someone
down there. I pretended to be sad & I said we didn't
get in. Emily goes Oh No!!! You Didnt? It was cute.
Trevor came over. He shook Louis' hand & mine too. He
was cute. I asked Emily who is more drunk, her or
Trevor. She said she was but by the looks of Trevor I
say he was. He couldn't talk very well. When I saw
Andy I told him I hope to see Hot Rod. He goes Oh I
hope you will enjoy it. I should have said I will
enjoy it because youre in it. At around 5:00 AM or so
we gave up. Zach & I wondered what happened to all the
cars. The celebs & cast came out somewhere else so we
said Oh Well. We had fun talking for awhile. We walked
with Lisa to catch a cab. We got home & went to bed
right away.

WHAT GOT CUT

MOUSTACHE RIDES- Commercial. Alec Baldwin, Seth
Meyers, Jason Sudeikis, Will Forte, Andy Samberg, Bill
Hader, Darrell Hammond & Kristen Wiig. Alec has a
meeting with the guys about giving many different
mustache rides. They vibrate too.

THE SUPER- Fred Armisen, Zach Braff, Amy Poehler, Maya
Rudolph, Jason Sudeikis, Will Forte & Kenan Thompson.
Zach & company go tell the Super about the problems
that still havent been fixed yet. At first Zach tries
to let him go but the others want to keep him.

AL GORE TALKS TO AMERICA- Darrell Hammond. Al Gore
talks about Global Warming & makes funny facial
expressions.

PROACTIVE- Commercial. Kristen Wiig. Kristen is Dina
Lohan talking about Proactive & how it changes your
skin to make it beautiful.

NEIL & JEAN AT STAPLES- Will Forte, Kristen Wiig &
Zach Braff. Will & Kristen are that strange couple who
are usually with a friend in a bar but this time they
meet a store clerk. They talk about how the glue is
making them high. Time keeps passing & at the end they
have their pants off.

BRAFF ON OLD PEOPLE- Commercial. Zach Braff, Kristen
Wiig & Fred Armisen. Zach is in a hospital setting as
J.T. wearing Scrubs. He talks about spraying old
people to get rid of bad smells before he works with
them. It was funny.

LAST MINUTE GIFT- Bill Hader & Kristen Wiig. Bill is
Al Pacino doing some last minute shopping by phone.
This was sort of funny.

EPISODE REVIEW

PRE-SHOW THOUGHTS- Last show of the Season which means
SNL withdrawal during the Summer. To help me out with
that I will be traveling, going to free concerts &
finding things with SNLers in them. I really dont care
for Zach Braff. Scrubs is OK. Maroon 5 isnt bad.
Should be a decent show.

BUSH COLD OPEN- This was actually better in the LIVE
show because of Darrell Hammond making funny gestures.
I loved Maya's enthusiasm on LFNY its Saturday Night.
A

NEW JERSEY MONOLOGUE- He's actually a pretty good
singer. I thought the song was funny & I have friends
in New Jersey so I have been there quite often so I
know what he was singing about. A

SNL DIGITAL SHORT: DOG LOVER- Andy Samberg is one
sick, twisted & funny guy. I wouldn't kiss a dog like
that. The crowd got a kick out of it though. Pretty
dog. B

PROM COMMITEE- I really don't like it when girls talk
that way. Makes them look & sound stupid when they
really arent. Kenan & Jason were funny. Bill was funny
when Kristen rubbed her finger down his spine. That
would be something if the real Sean Connery showed up.
C

DEEP HOUSE DISH- Wasn't as good as it usually is but I
loved Zach's rap & Will's behind. C

TV FUNHOUSE: SENATORS- This was an OK cartoon. It was
funny how Hillary kept smiling like that. C

BAR SONG- This was cute the last time & this time it
was just as good. I hope we see it again next season.
I really loved it when they took their clothes off.
Will Forte cant keep his clothes on & I love it. Jason
had a nice body too. A+

MAROON 5 "MAKES ME WONDER"- I loved this song. They
sang this song on American Idol. I even danced in my
seat to it. A+

WU WITH POEHLER/MEYERS- Andy Samberg was cut as Cliff
talking about reading cliff notes for the Summer.
Kristen's Aunt Linda wasn't as good as it usually is.
Maya was funny. Jokes were OK. C

VINNY TALKS TO ZACH- Loved the facial expressions on
Zach's face when he couldn't understand. Vinny did a
good Peter Falk. The spaghetti looked good. C

BRONX BEAT- I'm getting tired of this already. They
need to not ever do this one again. It was only funny
once but never again. F

MAROON 5 "WONT GO HOME WITHOUT YOU"- This was a nice,
mellow song. A

MELISSA- Fred was a cute woman. He made Melissa sound
like Victoria Jackson. I loved it when Zach & Fred
started kissing & everyone in the audience had a
reaction. B

AFTER SHOW THOUGHTS- Zach Braff didn't do a bad job.
Maroon 5 was good. Stay tuned for my SNL/Standby
Awards. If you did standby or we did standby for you,
you will be in the Awards. I give this show a B-

SNL UPDATES

SNL is going to be on hiatus for the Summer so watch
for repeats.
