Anything releated to the OLD but excellent Test & Measurement Instruments made by the well known British Firm "MARCONI INSTRUMENTS"
MARCONI was sold to IFR Systems Inc. in 1998, that later was acquired by Aeroflex (in 2002)! Many of the latest MARCONI / IFR brand test equipments was supported until recently by AEROFLEX! They do have kept under current production some of the latest top line MARCONI products as are the RF Signal Generators of the 2030 series. You may be lucky and they still have in stock spare parts for your MARCONI equipment, so a quote to them about spare parts is recommended... ;)
Equipments such as the Marconi 2955 Radio Communication Test Set, or the excellent Marconi 2305 2GHz Modulation meter - Analyzer, and all other older test instruments from Marconi are still in use worldwide. So if you like to share your knowledge on repairs, programming, adjusting or just using these fine T&M equipments, here is a place to do so! And of course anyone can ask anything about them also... Sharing the knowledge about them, is what keeps them "alive" on our labs :)
NOTE: Always check "Files" folder for newer manuals & download anything as I will "recycle" them every month to make space for newer uploads from everyone! So its better to keep a copy on your hard disk ;) And remember, I always arrange to keep a copy on an HDD of everything uploaded there for later quotation from a new or an old member. Regards. Sotiris
