Hello Poets,
Welcome to the MAP of Austin Poetry
Dear Venue Hosts – As many of you who know me, know I don't usually get to any
Poetry venues.
Please send me any changes – new venues, closed venues, changed venues, specials
at a regular venue. Anything to help know what poetry is happening in Texas. I
say this because we include Dallas, Ft. Worth, Irving, San Antonio, San Marcos,
Houston, Corpus Christi, Killeen, Sherman, College Station, Irving, etc. The
areas not in Austin always have the location at the beginning of the posting.
Please check to make sure the info about your Venue is correct. If your venue is
canceled or you want to add specific info for the upcoming month, please send an
email to midgekocen@... one week before the end of the month.
The MAP is only published once a month. I post on the last day of each month for
the following month. I cannot check all the info, which comes from others, we
cover too many venues.
I do want the MAP to be as up-to-date as possible and it will be with your help.
The success of the MAP depends on the help of all involved in scheduling,
running and all things Poetry.
NO INFO – NO CHANGES.
If anyone has any suggestions or comments, don't hesitate to e me at
midgekocen@...
Thanks Midge
