A group and email list for home owners and residents of the Maplewood-Alta Vista neighborhood in Bethesda, Maryland. Its purpose is to facilitate communication by providing a forum for residents to exchange information and discuss issues that affect the neighborhood and surrounding area, with the aim of promoting community and finding ways to improve the quality of life.

This list can be used for posting news about community events, construction, crime, county services, schools, traffic, parking, stuff for sale, or yard sales. Recommendations or requests for a contractor, store, restaurant, or service are also welcome.
