Welcome to the email group for Friends of Malabar Headland.
This email group is established to promote and protect Malabar Headland, a special place on the Sydney coast. Malabar Headland is little known jewel on the south of Maroubra Beach, that has been locked away for far too long. Few realise that it has perhaps the most important bush remaining in the Eastern suburbs, remarkable birdlife and scenery as well as unique World War II fortifications. Despite this, it is closed to the public and is being damaged by poor management.
Find out more about this area. Share your thoughts. And join with us to help protect this precious peninsula. We look forward to your creative and constructive contributions.
