You do not mention where these racks are to be used--ie. in a storage
cellar, in a area where they will be a decoration?
In a storage cellar shelves with partitions 4 bottles wide and 4 tall
work for me . If more decorative and single selection is preferred 3/8
inch vertical plywood partitions with 3/4 inch rails work well. Size
the petitions to receive standard bottles and others to fit sparkling
wine widths.
You may get ideas by visiting various wine stores
