The Makali`i Group is made up of crew members, family and supporters of Hawaii islands 54' double-hulled voyaging canoe, Makali`i. We have committed ourselves to, "preserve, protect and perpetuate" our voyaging culture, and all it encompasses, through educational programs for all ages and cultures utilizing the Makali`i as a "floating classroom."
