The Magdalene discussion list was created for those interested in discussing Mary Magdalene. The list is not limited to religious discussion nor is it limited to a specific religious tradition.

These are the rules of the list:

1. Respect the other list members.

2. Be prepared to back up statements of fact and list sources. Otherwise, be clear that the statement is a personal opinion.

3. Don't assume anyone shares your religious/spiritual views.

4. Keep posts relatively on-topic. Discussions of tangentially related material is okay, such as conversations about religious traditions that are relevant to Magdalene.

5. Please do not post: political commentary, chain letters, virus warnings, feel-good pass-it-on messages, prayer requests, humor and petitions. It's pretty easy, really: if it isn't related to the list topic, please don't post it. If it's marginally related, or you aren't sure, please check with a moderator first.
