Do you like card making, knitting, crochet, sewing, cross stitch or any other craft? Would you like to use this craft to cheer up a child? We are a group of crafters who make items, whether it be cards, toys or other items and send them to children featured at Post Pals. (http://www.postpals.co.uk)

We ask that people only join if they intend to be involved by sending items fairly regularly to children featured on Post Pals (whether that be a card, knitted toy, or anything else you may craft) and by telling us about them in this group! We won't be over strict on this, as we understand other things get in the way sometimes, but please no "lurkers". You don't have to be an expert at your craft (though anything you make must be safe for a child), and you don't have to live in the UK, although you are sending to children within the UK.

Please note, we are not affiliated to or endorsed by Post Pals, we just enjoy making things for the children featured there, and talking together about what we have made.

MEMBERSHIP: When you join this group, you need to introduce yourself to the group within a couple of weeks. If you do not do that, your membership will be suspended (although you can return later of course if something got in the way). Sorry, it's the only way of making sure you really intend to be an active part of the group. We love having people here, but it helps keep the group more friendly if everyone posts from time to time, and people don't just lurk in the background. I'm sure you'll understand!
