Description

Genealogy research/discussion group for people interested in the descendants of Matthew MADDOX (1751-1831) and Rachel BONNIFIELD (1753-1826). Matthew, born in St. Mary's Co MD, was the son of John MADDOX and Mary DYSON. Rachel was the daughter of Gregory BONNIFIELD & Sarah HENLEY. Matthew & Rachel moved to VA where they raised most of their family. They spent many of the last years of their lives near Parkersburg, Wood Co (W)VA, and are buried in the MADDOX Cemetery nearby.
