This is a site for people interested in the astrological (precessional) ages such as the Age of Aquarius or Age of Pisces. These ages are a part of contemporary mythology but as a result most facts about the ages are pure myth. When did the Aquarian age begin? Most astrologers want the Pisces age to begin with the birth of Jesus. However most astrologers also want the world to be now in the Aquarian age or on its cusp. Unfortunately this is a case of wanting your cake and eating it at the same time. Ages are not 2,000 years long though some astrologers would like ages tidied up so that they were two thousand years long.

There are so many unsubstantiated concepts and outright errors associated with the ages that anyone trying to make sense of the available written material will only get confused or pick from the menu of concepts of the ages those that personnally apeal to them. This is no way to study the astrological ages.

Anyone can dream up an appealing concept about the ages, especially the Age of Aquarius. One prime concept about the Age of Aquarius is that it will fix up the many ills and problems in the world. Why should the Aquarian age be superior to the Pisces age? Are people with their Sun in Aquarius or more importantly with Aquarius on the ascendant better people than those with Pisces strong in their horoscope? This is absurd yet most literature about the Aquarian age make out that it will be some kind of Utopia. As an interesting digression, anything associated with utopia is a Pisces archetype (ruled by Pisces).
