This group was formed to allow home educators in and around Sydney's South West to form local contacts.

The group is open (by invitation only) to ALL home educators in the greater Sydney area, although most social activities will probably take place from Picton to Liverpool areas.

This group currently meets for informal social time every fortnight on Wednesdays, between 11am and 2pm. Additional activities may be suggested and agreed on throughout the term.

We would like to state that this group is open to Home Educators of all philosophies, and cultural and religious backgrounds. We wish to encourage and support each other as home educators. We desire an accepting and non-judgemental atmosphere for parents and children.

We ask that any posts made on our Yahoo group be mindful and respectful of a broad range of perspectives. We also ask that posts made are relative to home education and open to all members listed, for example, suggested group activities, change of date, venue etc. Should you have religious or political material to circulate, we ask that you not do so on this list.
