With the Babylock Embellisher, Brother needle felting attachment, Bernina needle felting attachment, the new Janome Xpression and others, needle felting machines are becoming more popular. Although books are becoming more available than when this group first started, it is still wonderful to have so many wonderful people who are willing to share their time and talent. So, to advance communications between those who use these machines or who are thinking about getting one, this group was created.

Please feel free to share your ideas and questions, your needs, your triumphs, your first attempts and your final projects with this community. You no longer have to feel like you are one of the few people around who even understand what machine needle felting is. We also welcome those who felt by hand (either wet or by needle) who are interested in our art form.

The photo to the right is a work by Joan B. The background is a combination of wool and bamboo roving and each flower and leaf is made individually. The basket is also made using wool roving, felted, cut into strips and woven into a basket. Thanks Joan for sharing with us.
