Description

The Lumber River Canoe Club was created in 1982 so that canoers and kayakers could share their enjoyment of the Lumber River and other area rivers. We are located in southeastern North Carolina. We meet on the third Wednesday of every second month to schedule floats and other activities. The schedule will be posted on this page. Members may also post messages and photos. of general interest to paddlers. Questions and other "chat" type messages should be posted on http://groups.yahoo.com/group/lrccmessagebd

Saturday May 26 Uwharrie River Paddle
I am cancelling the Uwharrie River Paddle, as there is not enough water to float your boat! I will arrange another paddle when the Good Lord decides to fill

Annual canoe trip - July 14th
This year's annual canoe trip for my group is scheduled for July 14th. We'll be putting in at Rice Field Cove and I never remember our take-out point. :)
