Set Up I spoke to Christine from the Sheraton today and we can now get into the room at 2PM! Let's plan on getting there at that time so we can set up & be on our way to get ready. Registration Table - Veronica Ontiveros will be bringing the arrangement and some decorations for this table. I will make some small forms for the girls to update their information on (address, email, etc.) These will be put into some type of bowl/box. Dinner Tables - There will be 15 tables to decorate. Each plate will have the "program" on it that Gloria is working on We'll scatter the roses and gold stars on the
mirror and the talbes should be done. Stairs - Vero is picking up the balloon Saturday morning that will be placed on the staris going down to the ballroom. We'll also be adding the twirl stuff to the rails.
As Sisters Arrive Upstairs - Vero, Amber and I will be at the registration table at the top of the stairs. We'll divide the list of sister by name (alphabetically) and tow of us will check them off as they come in. They will receive their dinner tickets (which the hotel provides), name placecard (sisters only), their favor box and the info update form. I'm thinking of putting all of this into little envelopes with their names on it so they can be premade and just handed out quickly to move the line along faster. We can make these tomrrow night as we do the favor boxes. Downstairs - We'd like to have someone take picturs as people come down to go with the theme. Also, we'd like the committe members to be on time and downstairs greeting sisters as they arrive, making everyone feel welcome and situated. This is a social role and something we would all probably be doing anyways. =) We can discuss this more when we're setting up.
Budget We're doing great on the budget. Here's where things are so far. Items in bold are exact expenses, the rest are still projected or I'm collecting receipts still. This should be finalized by this weekend. If anyone has receipts, please let me know ASAP.

This weekend is our last fundraiser before our 20 year Gala! We would like to see everyone come out and support us. After the fundraiser we will have a mini dress social at the same location. We ask for all sisters to bring any dresses other sisters can wear to the gala.

This is a great opportunity to give away some of your unwanted possessions, ranging from clothes, shoes, household property, toys, , etc.

In our last meeting there were some sisters that had concerns about purchasing new dresses so we thought of an idea that we can have a dress social for all sisters. All sisters would bring formal dresses that some one can borrow and wear to the 20 year Gala. We said it will be after the Rummage Sale on April 25th. Please let us know if any one can host the social and what time would be best for everyone. Thank you!

Every team has been assigned a team color. There has been a change in the type of shirt you can purchase. You can either get you color as a Solid shirt OR you can get the baseball 1/4 sleeves shirts with the sleeves the color of your team.
Again here are the team colors
Mary - Red
Maria Trejo - Green
Erika - Black
Jessica Silva - White
Christina Ramos - Gray
Melida- Burgundy
Jessica Reyes - Baby Blue
Karina - Purple
Crystal - Yellow
Open Colors -If you don't like your color these are the open colors.
I have a question from a sister who recently lost her Mother. Karen Luster, Beta Class would like to attend the reunion, however she in the midst of her mother's passing. She is asking for an extension on the couple price of $70.00. Could you please let me know after your next meeting?
We met yesterday with Linda from the Hotel and went over a few details for the event. We are basically are given the center pieces and all we need is the rose pedals to give it a really nice look. The center pieces will look like this I am assuming...
with out the green. Dora had a great idea for the colors and we will have black napkins, black under the centerpieces, red rose pedals, and some gold around the roses.
I wanted to send you some ideas we can do for the registration table.
I know we had said no balloons inside but this is an idea I like the star ones but we can leave them out we want it to look classy and elegant but also some what festive. What does everyone think?

We are all very excited about our kickball event. During our meeting we discussed getting a bouncer for the kids who attend. We are looking into pricing. But we need to know how many sister plan to bring kids to this event. This is a family event so please invite your friends and family!
The number of responses we receive will ultimately determine if the the bouncer is a go.
