This group was intended as a new home for the message board that is associated with the Lower Edmonton web site (http://lower-edmonton.co.uk/). The web site is pretty much frozen now but it was hoped this once thriving group would continue and would be all the better for being in a better managed environment. Unfortunately the group was set up in rather a hurried fashion because of issues with the old one and there was a failure to communicate quickly and efficiently enough to the existing membership that joining this group simply required sending an e-mail to 'lower-edmonton-subscribe' at 'yahoogroups.com' and there was no need to have Yahoo! IDs or mess around with the web interface. So a replacement QuickTopic group was quickly set up instead and this one simply never got going. Good luck to it and I hope it is thriving. The 'Links' section includes links to the messages on the old board.
