I really appreciate everyone holding me in their
thoughts. I've been telling myself all along the
perfect job just hasn't been perfected enough yet and
when it is ready for me, or I'm ready for it, the
telephone will ring. Believe me I will enjoy sharing
the blessings which come about as the universe
unfolds. I truly believe perception is 9/10ths the
battle to realization. I hope everyone is having a
GREAT WEEK and enjoying their own personal
rollercoasters. How many of us have had wonderful
epiphanies in the face of chaos and gone on to realize
we have been given a gift of freedom from something we
thought we were unable to conquor? I just love the
Dalai Lama's Instructions for Life in the New
Millennium. I have a copy printed out and posted on
the wall next to the computer for easy reference(ok,
so I wanted to put it where the 14 and 16 year old
sons would be forced to make eye contact). To quote:"
When you lose, don't lose the lesson. Remember, not
getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke
of luck. Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve
immortality. The best relationship is one in which
your love for each other exceeds your need for each
other." Reading those every once in awhile makes me
read the Bible more because every time I read the
Instructions or the Bible, I find a different part of
my life that something applies to that didn't apply
that way a day before. WOW Love, Hugs, and Many Thanks
to All, Karen

Good Morning Karen,
Your light is shining, and I agree that your job will come along when it is
supposed to; when that phone rings you will indeed be blessed with that one
the Universe had in mind for you. Oh yes indeed perception is 9/10ths of the
battle to realization, and it warms my heart to see another has reached those
understandings.
I am certainly having a great week; just came off a quiet meditative flu
period.
Now passing, I realize that it was there for a good reason, and coming out of
it brings more light, insights, and loving all the things that I had taken
for granted. When things are taken away, such as my garden, for almost a
week, I couldn't go out to it, only viewing it from my window, and after the
flu left me and i ran out into with my arms high to the heavens, running and
jumping and absolutely feeling the marvelous wonder, and then I sat down on
my Japanese bench and thought to myself, "Ah, this what my flu was all about,
to come back with more insight, taking nothing for granted, and growing in
the light!" And indeed, my rollercoaster
slowed down enough for me to see it.

I am going out of town tonight and won't be back until Sunday, so you all
take care, and you shall be in my thoughts as I take care of my business,
celebrate my birthday at my daughter's home, and simply spend time with my
new insights.
Love to you! And Karen, your job will come, and when it does, Oh do come in
and share it with us.
With much love,
Patti

Thanks Karen,
I am back of news that my trip was filled with love and beauty. My daughter
and her family had me over for my birthday dinner on Friday; ah, a nice warm
fire in the fireplace sending out its warmth as I stood and warm my hands to
remove the chill from my shoulders, one by one they each came to wish me a
happy birthday and a warm loving hug; son-in-law whom is like a son, my
daughter, granddaughter, and grandson, we laughed and shared old stories, new
stories, as we all prepared dinner, cutting up salads, fresh veggies to steam
- later to open presents of love, and beautifully worded cards. Tears ran
down my face, being so touched by it all, late in the evening we sat around
the warm fire gently sharing more stories until it was time to bid them all a
goodbye.
Such a wonderful time I had.
Thanks for the Happy birthday wish Karen, you are so kind and filled with
love in your heart.
I won't go on with anymore, as I am still a bit tired from my trip home.
Love,
Patti

Wake or Asleep

Not to deem death,
dead and dry -
with no soul at all!
to where one can not
see beauty,
nor things more true and deep.
O' us mortals dream,
and awaken to the cystal stream,
to the light!
to look toward the light,
a pine!
a rose!
with no such pain
is fraught,
nor the sweetest songs
can be sung with the sad
thoughts of yesterday.
No!
there scorned,
hate, pride and fear,
we cannot offer birth,
nor can we walk toward
the death of them.

Teach them gladness!
harmonious bliss!
from the lips
that speak
and wish awakeness!

" One Million Prayers of Peace for the Middle East "

Yasser Arafat said that peace will not come to the Middle East
without a million strong prayers. We intend to give him just that!!!!!

When we have one million prayers of peace, James Twyman, author and Peace Troubadour, will travel to Israel with all the prayers to be presented to Mr. Arafat and Mr. Barak.

This is your chance to let your voice be heard. Do not wait, but contribute your prayer NOW!

James Twyman, author of Emissary of Light and Praying Peace, was recently in Jerusalem to help focus a worldwide prayer vigil for peace in the Middle East. Hundreds of Thousands of people joined the vigil, many of them linking live to Jerusalem via WorldPuja.org.

Days later, Twyman read in a newspaper an offhand remark made by Yasser Arafat that peace will not come to the Middle East without a million strong prayers. Through the Internet we have the ability to supply him with these prayers within days or weeks. Click on the link below to write your prayer. When the counter reads one million a copy of every prayer will be produced on an enormous scroll and will then be brought to Israel.

Click Here to add your prayer . . .
Note: Please leave a one line prayer with no more than 100 characters.

In Light,
James F. Twyman

Thank you JoAnn, your kind words are welcoming and nudging me to activating
those energies in another poem. Hey, aren't you a poet too? I read some of
yours on your URL and was deeply impressed with the flowing magical way you
write them and carry us off into the past, a long ago past, mythical past.

I hope everyone is sitting down. If not, sit down. If
you will remember a couple of weeks back I made it
known I was having a very difficult time finding a job
but I knew when that perfect job for me was ready, God
would help it find it's way to me. Guess What!*! I got
a call today from a man I had interviewed with not too
awfully long ago. He was very pleasant in the
beginning of the conversation, which I took as a bad
sign because usually only bad news comes after that
and I had just last week received a letter from a
reporting agency that they had completed their
background check on me for this company and if I
wanted to pay $8 I could get a copy. Shortly after he
got past the lead in amenities, he said,"Well, I just
got the go ahead today from the home office to get you
started with us as soon as possible. When can you
start? Naturally, I said, "Tomorrow." Then while he
was laughing at that I was doing everything I could to
keep from shouting, "THANK YOU GOD" and wipe the tears
from my eyes. (I had just run out of some of my
medicine that I take for arthritis and didn't have the
money to refill it. Boy, am I suffering. The first
check won't be here for about 3 weeks; but I can make
it that long.) I will be doing what I've done since I
was 25, insurance adjusting. The beauty of this is I
will be working out of my house. Then, as the business
grows, I will be the one in charge to find an office,
hire employees, etc. The money is a bit less than what
I'm used to; but it's a whole lot more than the zero
I'm earning now. So thank you from the deepest part of
my heart for your thoughts and prayers. Guess What?
They worked. I'm proof there is still power in prayer
and that miracles do happen everyday. Love and Hugs to
all, Thanks so very, very much, Karen

It really sounds like you had a Hallmark kind of
visit. What a wonderful pleasure to hear of this kind
of love being openly shared with joy and energy in
this day and age. I'm just now getting back on line. I
sent a separate e-mail thanking everyone who had
prayed for me in my job hunt. I was officially hired
today but won't start until they can get paperwork
finished. A special warm hug from me. Love, Karen

I know I have already thanked those in lovingpurelove;
but my heart is so full of deep appreciation and
thankfulness, I wanted to convey my deepest heartfelt
thanks for remembering me in your thoughts and prayers
and what a wonderful proof to us all that we each can
and do make a difference in what we dwell on in our
day to day thoughts. I had become very discouraged;
but, I knew all the way to my bones that God was
preparing the right job for me and me for the right
job and when the two of us were ready, He would bring
us together. I had done everything I knew how to do to
"make" this job thing happen. The only credit I can
take for the success is that I had the good sense to
know God was working on it and have patience mixed
with belief that it would happen in its best time.
Thanks again from the bottom of my heart, with love
and hugs, Karen

A light!
Jumping and singing
dancing and running
believing
in my heart
smiling
overflowing
oozing of fun
loving life

Powers, potential, goodness
they are all mine
Yours,
his,
hers
theirs over there
Oh I am waking
in my awe
being and feeling this life
I am alive!

Embrace life?
Oh I am singing my song
reaching out to find
me today
and you tomorrow
her yesterday
and them right now
exploring every might

Reaching for amazement
rousing you, me
the little ones near the
ocean
no longer afraid
confessing
perfect?
  Heavens no!
Trusting?
Absolutely so!

Hope always to be
horizons
present today
living in joy
singing in and around the blue
where bright sun opens the light
rainbows of color
miracles
in me
and you

One of my favorite all time lines from a poem was by
Rod McCuen(sp?). I can't remember the exact poem but
the line is: "See how easily we fit together as if
God's own hand had fashioned just us two." Or
something to that effect. It has so many different
conviluted meanings and can be taken in so many
different ways, mostly depending on the mood you're in
when you read it. I just love it. Love & Hugs, Karen

Hi Karen,
I always like Rod McCuen's work, in fact, I have a book of his called "See
the Warm"
not sure now if it is that or "Feel The Warm" At any rate, it is one that I
really enjoyed back in the 80s.
Here is another I wrote for someone's book they just wrote about
relationships.

Touch me darling, soothe my soul
Hard as it may seem, I wish to see me
triumph with your mirroring eye

vigilantly watching all that surrounds me,
mirroring how you respond
delivers to me, just who I am
Oh yes I see, you cover it with their own
design

Learning from you, her, him
them over there
relating and mirroring
just who I am

Oh darling the waves of conflict
reflect from you to me to you
and meet in the center
like a storm in a teacup
One upsets the other
one reacts through fear,pride,ego

Ah Darling, don't you see
the whole thing escalates
builds up with reflection
Let us find calmness, turning away
from ego and fear,
softly said
the road is bumpy
but our hearts are glowing
let's keep the fire flaming

On no, never worry about my light because I understand
I have been chosen to carry a wonderful gift to those
around me. Each time I change a mind from closed to
open or from hurt to healed or a spirit from down and
out to up and about, I know the love channel is
working well. Love is all you need is one of the
hardest lines to understand completely. But in the end
when one finally grasps the concept and is able to put
the love thing into active work, it, as with a lot of
other things we mature into, seems to be so simple and
why didn't we understand it sooner and what a
wonderful gift we have been given. I do my best to
keep my personal glow light on even when those around
me think I must be doing something I shouldn't. I
suppose it's that stupid grin I can't seem to wipe off
my face that's generated by the secret of love stored
deep inside me that costs me nothing to give and
brings so much back to me. It's there for anyone who
is willing to trust the feeling. Love might seem like
a sweet, weak emotion; but for me it's made of steel.

That is beautiful. I'll have to start putting together
some of my thoughts into poems. I used to be pretty
good at it. As a hobby, I would write song lyrics. I
love to sing. But have the voice of a dead toad. Ugh,
what imagery. True vocalists, as with any gifted
artist, generally don't realize what a gift they have.
But those of us who'd like to be able to do what they
do, just sit back in wonder at how easy it seems to be
for them to fill a soul with warmth and wonder with
the music sounding sweet and clear. Love & Hugs, Karen

I think this is a wonderful story, and I love sharing
it...as it touches the heartstrings...

Subject: Friendship oath

Tess was a precocious eight year old when she heard
her Mom and Dad talking about her little brother,
Andrew. All she knew was that he was very sick and
they were completely out of money. They were moving to
an apartment complex next month because Daddy didn't
have the money for the doctor bills and our house.

Only a very costly surgery could save him now and it
was looking like there was no-one to loan them the
money. She heard Daddy say to her tearful Mother with
whispered desperation, "Only a miracle can save him
now."

Tess went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar
from its hiding place in the closet. She poured all
the change out on the floor and counted it carefully.
Three times, even. The total had to be exactly
perfect. No chance here for mistakes. Carefully
placing the coins back in the jar and twisting on the
cap, she slipped out the back door and made her way 6
blocks to Rexall's Drug Store with the big red Indian
Chief sign above the door.

She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give her
some attention but he was to busy at this moment. Tess
twisted her feet to make a scuffing noise. Nothing.
She cleared her throat with the most disgusting sound
she could muster. No good. Finally she took a quarter
from her jar and banged it on the glass counter. That
did it!

"And what do you want?" the pharmacist asked in an
annoyed tone of voice. "I'm talking to my brother from
Chicago whom I haven't seen in ages," he said without
waiting for a reply to his question.

"Well, I want to talk to you about my brother," Tess
answered back in the same annoyed tone. "He's really,
really sick... and I want to buy a miracle."

"I beg your pardon?" said the pharmacist.

"His name is Andrew and he has something bad growing
inside his head and my Daddy says only a miracle can
save him now. So how much does a miracle cost?"

"We don't sell miracles here, little girl. I'm sorry
but I can't help you", the pharmacist said, softening
a little.

"Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn't
enough, I will get the rest. Just tell me how much it
costs."

The pharmacist's brother was a well dressed man. He
stooped down and asked the little girl, "What kind of
a miracle does you brother need?"

"I don't know," Tess replied with her eyes welling up.
"I just know he's really sick and Mommy says he needs
an operation. But my Daddy can't pay for it, so I want
to use my money".

"How much do you have?" asked the man from Chicago.

"One dollar and eleven cents," Tess answered barely
audibly. "And it's all the money I have, but I can get
some more if I need to."

"Well, what a coincidence," smiled the man. "A dollar
and eleven cents--the exact price of a miracle for
little brothers." He took her money in one hand and
with the other hand he grasped her mitten and said
"Take me to where you live. I want to see your brother
and meet your parents. Let's see if I have the kind of
miracle you need."

That well dressed man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong, a
surgeon, specializing in neuro-surgery. The operation
was completed without charge and it wasn't long until
Andrew was home again and doing well.

Mom and Dad were happily talking about the chain of
events that had led them to this place. "That
surgery," her Mom whispered, "was a real miracle. I
wonder how much it would have cost?"

Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much a miracle
cost... one dollar and eleven cents ...... plus the
faith of a little child.

A miracle is not the suspension of natural law, but
the operation of a higher law...... (A TRUE STORY)

I know you'll keep the ball moving! Here it goes.
Throw it back to someone else who means something to
you!

The Friendship Ball

A ball is a circle, No beginning, no end.
It keeps us together Like our Circle of Friends.
But the treasure inside for you to see is the treasure
of friendship you've granted to me.
Today I pass the friendship ball to you.
Pass it on to someone who is a friend to you.

MY OATH TO YOU...

When you are sad.....I will dry your tears.
When you are scared.....I will comfort your fears.
When you are worried.....I will give you hope.
When you are confused.....I will help you cope.
And when you are lost.....And can't see the light.
I shall be your beacon.....Shining ever so bright
This is my oath.....I pledge till the end.
Why you may ask?.....Because you are my friend.

Dear Lovingpurelove members,

Karen and Patti, your beautiful messages have been well received. We
have nine members, and it would be wonderful if we were all sending
our messages to share with one another.

I went off to the hospital several weeks ago, and never told you guys
that I was having surgery. I intended to, and to ask for your good
thoughts, but found myself out of time, and never sent a message.

I'm pleased that we have this mail group, that we can share our
strongest, deepest, loving feelings with people we have never
actually met, but within our spiritual being we know each other as
loving, caring individuals, and we can draw love, care, and affection
if we need them, or give from our abundance of love and joy.

God within us, keep us fulfilled with love, and continue in guiding
us to fill up the spaces with your loving energy that flows from our
being. In all that we do, let it be for Love's pure reasons.

May our days be blessed with the purity of love.

Polly

Thank you Karen,
It is such fun to open the doors to creative words and let them flow out onto
paper. I liked your poems I just read, they have that flavor to them.

Oh Polly, I knew you weren't posting, and wondered about you, thanks for
letting us know.
Also pleased to read that you are back and doing well. Your words of surgery
brought me back a few years ago when my life was so busy, running to
seminars, workshops, hospitals, and in the rush of it all, I went into the
hospital for surgery, not a major one, but it allows me that time to go
within to get back in touch with those flowing solitude wonders, and caught
me up with my inner soul. Even though my business suffered, my soul indeed
brighten.
I agree it would be absolutely wonderful if all 9 of us wrote poems,
thoughts, encouragement's, stories or just simple words of hello, wouldn't it?
Being part of something is so glorious, such a powerful feeling of having a
group of those that we meet each day, to say hello, to chat and then run off
creating, working, enjoying and simply living.
The purity of love carries us all through our days.

Polly, I know what you mean about "meant to do but
never had the time to do stuff." Happens to me all the
time. I trust your surgery went well and the healing
process is almost complete and that everyone around
you treated you like an empress. If not, they should
have. I'm beginning to think the more we treasure
ourselves, the more we are treasured. Of course, that
emotion has nothing to do with ego or I'm better than
you are syndromes. It's just that if we are our own
best friends, others will want to be a friend, too.
That glow of specialness seems to get warmer and
brighter when we discover within us the love bestowed
to us by our creator. And just like any energy source,
the more we fan the flames, the brighter it burns and
the more warmth we have to share. So share a hug or
two or three and know in spirit we're there with thee.
Yeah, I know but that was the only thing I could think
of to rhyme with with three. Glad to have you back up
and about. Love and Hugs to all, Karen

Hi, Polly,
Hope your surgery went well and that you're feeling much better.
I'm sorry I haven't been able to contribute here much, though I really
enjoy everyone's inspiring thoughts and the Love that is so manifest
here. It's so important to have a place to share our insights into the
wonders of creation, a place where Love rules, and hearts are warmed by
such loving thoughts. After the holiday rush is over, I really hope to
be able to contribute more of my thoughts, perhaps a few of my poems.
Take care, and keep your Lamp burning brightly!
    Love,
       JoAnn

Thank you to all that sent out your best wishes. I am doing quite
well, stitches (staples) have healed nicely. Surgery was on Oct.
31.

Patti, inspired with another poem, sent this along to me. May we
each be fountains of love, joy, care, and affection.

Fondly, Polly

  ~Autumn Fountain~

Brilliant colors dipped in love
wrapped with gentle flight
mixed with
  kindness, honor
and respect

Water flowing down the heart
filled with gentle embraces
a light so bright
it shines from afar
  so open
that it oozes words of light
warm embraces
and fills the autumn fountain
for ever more.
