I'm happy to help. And here's something to consider. The Baton Rouge library has a lovely genealogical branch (Bluebonnet) and the librarian there, not sure if she is still, did quite a bit on Louisiana African American genealogy, from what I understand. I have some books that might help as well, so ask anytime. I'm not AA but I teach a genealogy class at UL's Leisure Classes and I know some good resources. New Orleans has a slave database that's supposed to be really good as well. I think at Tulane.

But how far back have you gotten?
