This is a group set up for people who will be participating or any other like minded people to discuss the up coming encampment.
In 2008 the Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site of Canada will be commemorating the 250th anniversary of the second siege of Louisbourg. This siege, a turning point in the Seven Years War, opened the way for the seaborne attack on Québec the next year. James Wolfe gained prominence as one of three divisional commanders during this siege and the following year became overall commander of the British land forces attacking Québec.*********** En 2008, le lieu historique national du Canada de la Forteresse-de-Louisbourg célébrera le 250e anniversaire du second siège de Louisbourg. Ce siège a été un tournant décisif dans la guerre de Sept Ans et a ouvert la voie à l'attaque de Québec par la mer l'année suivante.
