This group is for posting of Prompt Challenges Fics. Prompt Challenges are based on a word given by a moderator. Some are restricted in length, like the ones on O.A.A., which are 500 words or less. Others, can be multi-chaptered.


If you see EE (Extended Edition) on a subject line, that indicates a fic inspired by a prompt exceeds the word limit.


Check the Files folder for prompt lists. If one of them inspires you to write a story, and it meets the criteria, send it to me and I'll be glad to read and post it. If you belong to a group that uses prompts and would like them included, let me know that, too!


Important: Please do not repost someone else's story or info without their consent.


I decided to start this group when I had problems finding the prompts later if I didnt have time to read them when they were first posted. I will do the best I can to update faithfully. If you see I have missed one of your Prompt fics, please let me know; no Mary Sues, no slash, no smut, no Adult fics. I normally do most of my updating on Sunday, so if you dont want a large number of emails at one time, I'd suggest Daily Digest.


These are good stories by devoted fans. These should all be not for profit fics. None of the authors believe they are JRR Tolkien or claim his characters or locations as their own.
