Whilst doing a combined WEBS/TTV this afternoon came across a good
candidate for an adult YLG in fields btwn Chapel and Prora at c.
NT526805. On the deck, mantle intermediate btwn accompanying HG and
LBB (120 + 7), bright yellow bill, but legs hidden; in flight, P5
showed a clear black band, P1 moulted. Circled high E with other
gulls but suspect returned to same field later; flock visible from
B1377, about 1/2 mile N, but unfortunately not easy to access this
area and gulls can flush very easily.

Greylag broods at East Fortune numbered at least 4.

Ystdy, on sea off Port Seton harbour, RNG, RTD and 3 Puffins, one with
fish headed off E presumably to colony.

Off Ferny Ness a dark-phase Arctic Skua well offshore, RTD, and a good
gathering of terns at a shoal with Gannets, 35+, many of which were
Arctic Tern. On Monday had also observed a couple of Arctic Terns
here, one bird fishing very successfully and taking fish to mate
resting on a buoy, confirming they were a pair - suggesting these are
early failed breeders.

At Aberlady Eider b5, Shelduck b10.
