TEACHER SEEKS PUPIL: Must have earnest desire to save the world." That's the start of Daniel Quinn's Ishmael and the focus of this group, an earnest desire and the will to make a change. We are the readers of the works Daniel Quinn and Derrick Jensen, Martin Prechtel, David Abram and others. We see that there's a problem and we'd like to try and fix it. We are a book discussion group and a springboard for real-life activities like permaculture workshops, alternative building and sweat lodges. Our official meetings are once a month, on a Sunday afternoon. You're welcome to join us whether you've read the books, are reading the books or like the idea of reading the books. All we ask is that you have that earnest desire to make a change in the world.
