The Longship Company sails two reproduction Viking ships in the vicinity of the Chesapeake Bay. The public is invited on all voyages, and to all our meetings, demonstrations and work parties.

About half our members are sailors interested in the dynamics of a square-rigged Viking ship. The other half are re-enactors who think the vessels are the two neatest props ever invented. Together we study the science of sailing re-production Viking ships.
