The supply chain management group is a forum for sharing ideas, information, and useful documents among managers interested in the concepts of supply chain management. It has been set up by the National Institute for Transport and Logistics in Ireland (NITL). The members of the forum are invited to share ideas, ask questions relating to specific problems they are facing in their work, and generally to inform themselves about the latest news about supply chain management iniatives. The NITL staff support this forum through uploading documents, as well as answering questions from members of the list. In addition news about the NITL and its activities, training opportunities and education programmes are distributed to members on a regular basis.
