This is an "insiders" forum for detailed discussion, and a recording of ideas and work, concerning the on-going Livingston/Maclea DNA project.

The administrator(s) will judge who is an "insider" based upon connections to the genealogy of the families and surnames involved. (You do not have to have given a DNA sample for example, nor to have one of the surnames being studied.) The guiding aim in this decision will be to achieve good informative discussion with a reasonable degree of privacy and comfort.

A wide range of surnames may be genealogically related to the two central ones, including Liebenstein, Boggs, Levach and many others. People interested in joining this forum should first consider whether existing forums such as the following might not better suit their purposes.
