Hi friends,
As we discussed at our last meeting, Graham Marsden and Rose Daniels will be leading an International Justice and Poverty group out in Graham's condo in Reston every other Saturday evening with dinner and discussion. The info should be in the pass, and the group will be called "Even Saturdays." As our group will be taking a break for the Fall, though of course we can still meet informally, I'd encourage you all to go out and join them when you can. We can try to somehow arrange rides after the Saturday service at Ebz to go together. Let me know if you have any questions. See you all soon,
Christine

Does anyone know who the leader is for the International Justice and Poverty group that they were looking into joining with and does anyone know anything more about it?Sarah

Ginger-Garlic Bean Curd
3 Tbsp canola oil
1 lb firm bean curd, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ginger powder
2 Tbsp tamari
1 Tbsp nutritional yeast (optional)
Put oil in frying pan and set over high heat.
When hot, put in the bean curd.
Stir fry for 5 minutes, or until lightly browned on all sides.
Add the garlic and ginger powder.
Turn down the heat slightly and cook, stirring, another minute.
Add the tamari.
Turn the heat down to low.
Stir and cook another 2 minutes.
Sprinkle the nutritional yeast over the top, stir to mix, and turn off
the heat.
FYI - the nutritional yeast is rich in protein and has all the
essential amino acids and all the B vitamins.
