Regarding meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the Charles Town Library.


Tonight will be a regular Planning Commission meeting with the attendance of the
County Commissioners as a workshop to discuss the new proposed zoning
categories. This is not the only topic for discussion tonight.



The planning staff is seeking input and ideas from the public for the new zoning
categories.


Please oppose the rural commercial/floating zoning for several reasons:
primarily because we do not want commercial zoning of any kind in the Bakerton
Road area, the roads here are not suited for commercial traffic, large buses
with trailers, the EMS response here is not great nor do we have great police
protection if we need immediate response.



I look forward to seeing everyone tonight who can make it.


We have our wonderful County government to thank for choosing Valentine's Day
for the meeting.
