All of my dolls join the community. No one can have non-removable clothing if they are going to live at my house.

Hi everyone! I head up to my doll show on Friday evening and I am finishing up my last few dolls and I just finished painting and dreadlocking a little Kelly doll. So, here's my question... would you be MORE interested in her if she was
sold as a nude repaint, or would she be more appealing done up as an african fairy with a non removable costume? What's your initial thoughts?
Thanks for your time. Let me know!!
Do you Yahoo!? Get on board. You're invited to try the new Yahoo! Mail.
I would prefer the costume. I love your fairy's and I don't have any african american ones. Like Joanne said, If you made the costume removal that would be the best option. Let me know when you post her. {{{Hugs}}} Lisa

Hi Kari
My initial reaction is that I would prefer her nude on ebay but at a doll show I would expect her to be dressed. OOAK dolls often have non-removable costumes but if you can make the costume so that it has one seam to rip if a person wanted to remove it, that would be good. Often, people will buy a doll with the intention of taking off the costume. It does seem to me that at a doll show she should have something on.
Thanks for asking,
Jo Ann Graham

Thanks so much Kathy. Yes, I am really having a lot of fun with the male fairies, and I am currently making one to match Autumn. I will send a pic when I am done and definitely look forward to a lot more males to come! Right now, I'm stockpiling again for the doll show, but in mid October (Just a couple weeks away!) I will be listing all the unsold from the doll show and many new fairies! You are so kind, and your support means the world to me!

Ya, I'm hoping to sell them at the show, but whatever doesn't sell will be on eBay at the mid to end of October. I'll let my FTK group know what's left after the show and maybe even list them on my sell page of my website rather than eBay. The Kelly fairies really seem to be popular at the doll shows...But I'll let you know! Have a great week!!

Will you be posting the dolls after the show, or sell them at the show? If you do post on eBay, Please let me know. Thanks, Lisa Crouch

Well, I am going to a different doll show now, so the rush for making more dolls is back on again!!
Here's my newest pair, Autumn and Solti. They will be going to the doll show with me on the 14th and 15th of October.
Well, I just found out that the doll show I was planning on going to in Washington has been cancelled, so I don't need to stockpile my dolls and will be listing several on eBay in the next week or two.
I have a really cute Kelly fairy that was just listed this morning. Lylac has a beautiful light purple dress and tulle skirt with matching lavender wings. Super low starting bid.
Keep looking on eBay in the next few days for new dolls to be added! Thanks!

Thanks! He's definitely not gay, and right now I'd say he's pretty darn happy being the only guy fairy in Starfall Woods. Corey (my husband) REALLY didn't want me to list him as a "Fairy"... he was voting for "mystic warrior" or something... but you know eBay and keyword searches... so he's a male warrior fairy, and he's good with it.

I don't know about anyone else, but JUST a loin cloth sounds good to me :) My kind of fairy!!!!!!! !!!!
Does that mean he is gay - since he is a fairy? Sorry couldn't resist! Hey if he does well -- that is pretty easy-- give him a loin cloth and boots and he is good to go! =)
Hi everyone! I am just finishing up my first ever guy repaint. He was formerly a Barbie Beach Fun Blaine, and now he is my first warrior fairy. (Don't laugh, he could kill you if he wanted...)
I gave him new mohair and repainted his face. I hope to get him on eBay tonight or tomorrow and we'll see how he does. Here's a sneak peek at him without all his finishing touches.

Hi! I got back from my doll show this weekend and learned a lot. I didn't sell many dolls because the show was pretty slow, but made a lot of new friends and had fun browsing and trading!
Right now I have a doll I just listed on eBay that made her debut at the doll show. I don't do a lot of My Scene Barbies, so she was fun. Take a look at her auction. Great LOW starting bid!
Hope you all had a great weekend. I'll be going to one more doll show this year up in Puyallup, Washington, so I guess this next 4 weeks will be pretty busy getting ready for that. Then I'll be doing dolls for my sales room and eBay just in time for Christmas.

Wow! What a difference! One looks sweet, the other looks sly and mischievous.

Hi everyone! I'm working on my doll show dolls, and just finished two Tiny Kitty repaints. I thought it would be fun to see them side by side since they are the same exact doll with totally different face paint. It's amazing what a difference you can make with just paint and color!
Hi again everyone. I'm busily working away on dolls now, getting
ready for my first doll show Labor Day weekend. I won't have any new
dolls on eBay for the next two weeks or so because I'll be stocking up
for the doll show.
I do have two Tonner dolls on eBay right now. A Tonner Wicked Witch
repaint with bright red mohair to make her into Poison Ivy. And I
also have my Brenda Starr repaint on eBay repainted and restyled to
look like Kate from LOST. I really REALLY like this doll! Her
amazing life-like clothes were made by a great friend who is very
talented at sewing--something I STINK at!
After I get done with the doll show, I'll be planning my first doll
giveaway on this first to know list, so stay tuned for that!
Thanks for joining, and drop me a line on this group if you would like
to. I am always interested in your thoughts, or if you would like to
see a certain kind of doll made!
Thanks! Kari
This week I have a lot of fun dolls coming on eBay! Tonight I'll be
listing a great Silkstone that I have put new mohair on, part of my
Wild Child series. Her mohair is called simply radiant and is a blend
of burgandy and lavenders...very nice!
I am also working on a 16" Tonner gal who has been repainted to look
like Kate Austen from my favorite TV show LOST. Right now she has
beautiful multi-tonal brown mohair, freckles, and her boots. A great
friend of mine is making her a pair of jeans and tank top, then she'll
be ready to sell. I'm not sure if I'll be able to part with her
because she's just too cool.
I also have a couple of little Kelly fairies I'm finishing up. One
will be a rose fairy and the other a mermaid with hand sculpted
tail...the second one I've ever done. Hope she comes out well!
Next week I hope to be starting on another Tonner Wicked Witch doll
and finishing up a mohair reroot. I also have a red-head Tonner Tiny
Kitty that I'm thinking will become an Irish fairy--thanks from a
suggestion from a great customer!
I'll upload some pics of my Silkstone Wild Child and Kate (without her
LOST clothes--perhaps she's in a flashback???) :o)
Thanks for all your support and encouragement! I would be LOST
without you! ;o) ~Kari
As always, any doll bought by anyone on this list will be shipped for
free!!
