First off: Do not spam the list or you will be banned (including job information and other irrelevant posts). If you've contributed meaningful posts and then send spam, you'll be moderated first. Otherwise you'll be k/b.

Various Linux stuff, primarily RedHat (including RedHat Enterprise Linux, RHEL) and Fedora; also to include other hardware (Sparc and PowerPC). I use both regularly and manage systems using both.

If you want to try/use a Linux system that is virtually identical to RedHat Enterprise Linux but can't afford/don't want to pay, try CentOS (see Production list below).

Latest Production:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 2.1 Update whoknows**
RHEL 3 Update 9
RHEL 4 Update 7
RHEL 5 Update 3

Fedora: Fedora 11 (June 9, 2009)
Red Hat: Red Hat 9 (through April 30, 2004)
Aurora: Aurora ? (SPARC hardware) (www.auroralinux.org)
CentOS: CentOS 5.3 (Free RHEL "clone") (www.centos.org)
Note about CentOS: There is a CentOS release for each RHEL release. That means there's also a CentOS 4.7 and CentOS 3.9.

Latest Development:
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 2.1 Update x
RHEL3 Update x (no more numbered updates, just updated packages)
RHEL4 Update 8 (presumably)
RHEL5 Update 4 (presumably)
Fedora 12 (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/12/FeatureList)
Aurora: Aurora 2.0? (FC3-based), Corona Tree is FC6-based
CentOS: tends to keep up with RHEL

NOTE: Fedora Core 2 and later as well as RHEL4 come with 2.6.x kernel with 4K stacks enabled. nVidia drivers MUST be updated to work with this kernel and all subsequent kernels. This is a Kernel change and not a Fedora/RedHat change.

** The latest set of ISO's downloadble from Red Hat Network are for Update 6; after installing that, run up2date to become current.
