The purpose of this elist is to provide members of LIGHT with time-sensitive information that cannot wait for the newsletter. This e-group is restricted to members of LIGHT, messages are moderated.

LIGHT is a Christian organization that is dedicated to the support of Godly home teaching of children. Our purpose is to provide encouragement, prayerful support, and communication among all home educating families; information on teaching techniques and curriculum; coordination of group activities, and monitoring of legislation relating to home study programs. LIGHT membership is open to all interested home educators regardless of their religions, but all should understand that the meetings and activities will often reflect a distinctively Christian emphasis and flavor.
