Subject: [lightfactory_software] Moving Light Questions

Hi All,

I am hoping someone may be able to give me some insight as to whether I have an issue or not and maybe where to look.

I am in the final stages of setting up a show and appear to be having a slight issue with the two moving mirrors and two moving head fixtures I am using.

The controls from LF are fine and all works fine from that point but here is the issue. Starting from the point where LF just opened, I setup sevel groups for the M-heads, home, floor centre, logo on stage pros.
I also have a m-head effect - circles which I use on the floor - audience seating

I have the following sequence for the moving heads from the start after the system loads and the fixtures start from their 0 point :

1: logo on pros - dimmer off
2: MH - dimmer on
3: MH - dimmer off
4: MH - floor centre - dimmer off
5: MH - FX circles - dimmer on
6: MH - turns of the dimmer and stops the fx from running.

and this is where my issue starts to occur

7: MH - logo on pros - dimmer off
8: MH - dimmer on

The issue is that the moving heads aren't located on the logo, there seem to have lost the reference to their 0 point which was the starting reference when I programmed the group.

This also affects the floor centre as well as the next time I trigger it the fixtures are not positioned on the floor, which in turn throws out the fx next time i run it.

Regards
Steve Tibbits
