We are homeschoolers in the Midwest City and Del City areas in Oklahoma. The purpose of this group is to post about group activities in this area (such as various classes, book clubs, park days, music lessons, etc.) as well as any other larger city- or state-wide activities (such as the State Fair, Wildlife Expo, various festivals, etc.). Any homeschool family is welcome to join, but the IRL (in real life) activities will be primarily in the Mid-Del area.

We all come from various backgrounds, but the leadership in this group is all made up of followers of Jesus Christ. While we do not intend to make "religion" a big topic in this group, it will undoubtedly come up from time to time. Also, we all homeschool for various reasons and use many different styles. Please be respectful when replying with strong opinions. We will NOT tolerate flaming of any kind! If the subject in an email does not interest you, we ask that you delete it and move on. To make this easy for everyone, please make sure you state clearly what your email pertains to in the subject line.
