LIFE of Central Florida (Orlando area) is an intentional community of homeschooling families.
We are an affiliate of LIFE of Florida (see link below.)
VISION STATEMENT:
Our objective is to provide opportunities for members to
network with like-minded families to create both large and
small-group activities. Our membership gathers together
for cooperative and social reasons and welcomes
families of all backgrounds who share our respect for each
other’s likenesses and differences. We wish to provide the
fertile ground upon which a variety of membership get-togethers,
cooperatives, clubs, interest groups, demonstrations, camp outs,
potlucks, workshops, planned tours, performances, and community
service may sprout. We feel our children’s growth is best
fostered in a learning environment that respects their
interests, learning pace and style, that is centered in the home
and reaches out to explore the world around us. We have one rule
- the Rule of Civility - that we respect and show consideration
to all members.
