Brad Taylor raises interesting questions for libertarians¹ regarding "punishment," of a nonviolent sort, freely given out by doGooders civic-minded people. He says sometimes this is good (419 baiting) and sometimes bad (shunning gays).
 I propose that, in the bad cases, the (nonviolent!) punishments offered are trivial by comparison with the violent, government-sponsored sort.
