Welcome to LCS. We're a group of racers dedicated to HO or 1/64th scale slot car racing in Lexington, Kentucky USA. Here we race hard body magnet cars. Our chassis of choice are the Tyco/Mattel 440-X2(slim), Lifelike (Fastracker/ProTracker/T-chassis), Tomy (Super-G+/SRT). Our race series runs from June-October, 10 races per season with your two lowest scores dropped and counting the scores from the remaining eight. Our racing style is the marshaled racing format with TrakMate Computer Timing System. We race twice a month on Tomy and Tyco/Mattel plastic tracks. The bodies used in our race classes consist of LL Nascar, Tyco Indy/F-1, Tomy Indy-F-1, Tomy GTP, Johnny Lightning (JL) Fast & Furious sports car, JL #17 Chevy Chevelle on a Tyco chassis. There is NEVER a cover charge to race in the LCS and visitors and newcomers to the hobby are welcome. Our hope is that the ideas, pictures and information shared here will serve to enhance and promote the wonderful hobby of slot car racing.
