Yahoo! Groups Tips
Did you know...
Message search is now enhanced, find messages faster. Take it for a spin.

Upcoming calendar upgrade: Yahoo! Groups calendars are being upgraded to a much improved version. You may not have access to the calendar (for up to 24 hours) when this group is upgraded. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
Description
This is a group interested in high speed access to the Internet available in Lexington, MA.
See
Jon Dreyer's High Speed Internet Access in Lexington web page for more information about high speed Internet in Lexington.
Unfortunately, in order to keep out spammers, we now must ask for the following information before we add you to the list:
- Who you are, and
- A short sentence about what your interest is in this group. Most likely, mentioning "Lexington" and "Internet" is enough.
We really hate to have to do this, but since we started this policy we haven't been spammed.
Speaking of spam, sadly Yahoo itself has become a spammer. To avoid being spammed by Yahoo as a result of your membership in this group,
visit
this page.

Re: Disk i/o
I am not aware of any that do. Remember, cui bono - follow the money. No malware troubles, no anti-malware industry. It's not in their interest to get too

Re: Disk i/o
Once you've been infected by one piece of malware, it typically disables a lot of the protections in Windows, and so you tend to collect additional infections

Re: Disk i/o
Thanks for the suggestion. I ran this and it found a Trojan malware and removed it. Unfortunately, my disk is still spinning! Alice From: Allan Sherman
