Welcome to the Laboratory Equipment Control Interface Specification (LECIS) Mail List. The LECIS Mail List is for comments or questions about the LECIS standard. The ASTM E1989-98 (LECIS) standard defines a uniform remote control interface for laboratory instruments. LECIS was initially defined by the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) E-49 committee on Computerization of Material and Chemical Property Data, subcommittee E-49.52 Computerization of Analytical Sciences Data. You will receive messages posted to the list by other subscribers and you will be able to post messages or reply to messages which will be seen by the other subscribers.
This mail list is moderated. SPAM, flames, or inappropriate messages will be filtered out before they are sent to your email address. Our vision at LECIS for this mail list is that it should be a dynamic forum for users and vendors to freely exchange ideas and solve problems.
