Each week during our 78 card tour of the Tarot we discuss a card in depth, it's dignities, its astrological correspondences and its symbolism -- a lot of the symbolism.
So join us if you have a deck you need to become familiar with, a deck you love and want to share, or perhaps a deck you want to get introduced to...included on the journey are chats, spreads, and general tarotomania....You've been warned.
This week we are discussing the Five of Cups from the Wheel of Change Tarot by Alexandra Genetti. Her website is over here.
Ms Genetti has taken a different tack with the 5 of cups than most authors in showing the theme of loss and fear by showing 5 different sea shells and different evolutionary paths for the starfish to take, but instead of taking any and making the wrong choice, it remains stagnant alone in the center unable to make a decision. While visually this looks different than other 5ofcups, the idea is the same: one choice means that the others are no longer available and when the buffet all look good how much can you eat?
Well it is definitely something to ponder this week, while we discuss the 5 of cups. Hope you join us.
