Online home for USC alumni in Long Beach, California

Welcome to those of you who have just joined the site! An email went out on October 8, 2007 inviting 40 people to join.

Here's just a bit of background:

Noble Acuff, Glen Golightly, and Brian Ulaszewski started talking about re-launching a Long Beach USC Alumni club. The alumni coordinator at SC gave us a spreadsheet of results from a survey they sent out last year. There are about 100 respondents, 40 of whom indicated they're interest in leadership positions.

The initial invitation was sent to the 40 who may want to help organize the group. We're looking to you to help us determine a direction, decide what needs to be done, and volunteer a bit of time and expertise to help re-launch the club.

At the moment we're trying to establish:

a) who is interested
b) who has a bit of time to help
c) who wants to take a leadership role in the re-launch

We'd like to organize an informal meet-up in the very near future to talk about how the club can be re-launched. In the mean time, please use this online forum for communicating and sharing ideas.
