On Saturday, October 4th, the Laurel Youth Group hiked to the top of
Crabtree Falls and had lunch with a view of the surrounding mountains
and the valley below. After the hike they stopped at Dickie Brothers
Orchard and picked apples before heading home. Seven youth and the
three youth advisors made the trip.

Located on U. S. Route 56 between Massies Mill and the Blue Ridge Parkway in Nelson County.
1,380 ft vertical climb over 4.4 miles round trip.
Billed as the tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi.
