This group is for U of I medical students, residents, and physicians in Champaign-Urbana to have an opportunity to learn conversational and medical Spanish from natives of Ecuador and Bolivia.

As time passes it becomes more and more important for physicians to know Spanish in order to better communicate with their patients. We hope by starting this group we can help educate the health care providers and students in our area and increase awareness on health care disparities among the Latino community in general in the US.
