The Lansing Writers' Group is scheduled to start meeting for one hour on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. as of January 20, 2010 at the Lansing Community Library in Lansing, NY.

Meetings are open to adults (18+). While it is a group where we will learn from each other and strive to improve our craft as individuals, it is not a class. Therefore, there is no end date, costs, or obligation.

Each meeting will include a short, in-group challenge, weekly update of writing activities, Q & A, and reading/critiquing each other's work.

All genres, skill levels, and writing types are welcome. You need not be published or considering a career in writing to participate. If you have something to share, bring it to your first meeting.

If you are a mature, focused minor ages 13-17, contact the library directly with your interest in attending a monthly youth writers' workshop. One will be created if there's enough interest.
