This group is for everyone in the Virginia area from Stafford to Richmond to Charlottesville to Winchester to advertise those treasures that they want a few dollars for. Community interest items of profit and not for profit ads are permitted. Nothing illegal or in bad taste. Don't ask me what that means - you know - and if you have a doubt whether something might be in bad taste or is illegal then it is not permitted. Although not illegal no alcohol or tobacco. Offering prescription drugs either human or veterinary is illegal and is also not permitted. This group will initially be moderated to see what direction it is going. Please be patient.

IMPORTANT:
Please do not advertise animals for sale. A re-homing fee to screen out prospective bad adoptive parents is OK but in support of the local animal rescues and shelters, there are enough pets in shelters to satisfy the needs of all prospective pet seekers. Those who want a pedigreed pet from a breeder do not need a yardsale listing to find their animal. Announcing animals available at local shelters and rescue groups is OK.
