Welcome to the Meeting Notification and Events list for the LA Future Salon! We meet monthly at UCLA, and both nonstudents and students are equally invited. Come join us!

1. Sign up for monthly Salon meeting notification emails
2. Tell your LA-area future-oriented friends about cool events, by posting them to "lafuturists@yahoogroups.com")

Note: This is an Events list, not a Talk list. If you would like to talk/have discussions with our local Salon community, please join our LA Future Salon - Talk list. Want to talk/make friends across our entire network? Join North American Future Salon Network - Talk (15 salons across the US).

List Rules: This list is for recieving email notification of our monthly salons, plus community-posted events only. Postings must be:
1. Relevant (no event that would not be of interest to our future-oriented community)
2. Mostly Local (few non-local events, only those of major potential interest)
3. Concise (please be respectful of others reading time)
4. Non-repetitive (no event to be posted more than once except moderator-produced Future Salon community events)
4. Commercially restricted (a maximum of one commercial event in which you are financially involved per month, per poster).
These rules may be adjusted over time, and those not following them will be warned and if necessary suspended.
