We are a group of Confederate Ladies, in occupied Illinois, discussing reenacting, events, the roles of women in history, sewing and the fashions of the period. You are more than welcome to post anything of interest pertaining to the "War of Northern Agression" or any other American Historical Period.

We have become affiliated with the National Group, Order of the Confederate Rose, and we are now Belle Boyd Chapter 1. We have a headquarters in Northern Illinois and can be contacted through this group.

The Illinois Society of the Order of the Confederate Rose is affiliated with the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Camp Douglas Memorial Camp 1507, and participate with them in memorials and conventions.
