The union had probably started, when someone put a thread through a bead and, treasuring the bead, tied a knot to keep it safe. With more than one bead on a thread, knots would lock each precious bead protecting and organizing them.
This group invites everyone interested in learning and/or sharing their ideas of combining beads and knots.
We plan to explore the use of existing lace making techniques (bobbin lace, crochet, knitting, macrame; netting, and MOST of ALL - TATTING) to arrange beads into beaded lace, open jeweled fabric, or filigree.
