Welcome, this group is the main mailing list for the KY APRS Group (www.kyaprs.org coming one of these days).

The KY APRS group is a very loosely organized group of amateur radio operators interested in supporting and advancing APRS in Kentucky. The group is based in Northern Kentucky with it's roots tracing back to 1996.

Generally membership in this group will be restricted to amateur radio operators with interests in APRS operation within the state of Kentucky and immediate surrounding areas. This is to keep the discussion reasonably relevant to APRS operations within Kentucky. Membership exceptions will be made on a case by case basis by the list moderator(s). There are many groups and lists out there with much wider audiences if needed.
