Hello Folks,

It's a wild wild world!

It's pretty hard to maintain a positive outlook with all the
shit coming down, but that is just what we have to do.
Keep On Keeping On!

Big issue this time. I pretty much combined what I had for last
month and this month. I hope you enjoy and I/we would really like
to hear from you.

A special thanks to Linda Roy for her words of encouragement.

Into the light!

RESIGNATION

I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult. I
have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of an 8
year-old again. I want to go to McDonald's and think that it's a
four star restaurant. I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud
puddle and make a sidewalk with rocks. I want to think M&Ms are
better than money because you can eat them. I want to lie under
a big oak tree and run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot
summer's day. I want to return to a time when life was simple;
When all you knew were colors, multiplication tables, and nursery
rhymes, but that didn't bother you, because you didn't know what
you didn't know and you didn't care. All you knew was to be happy
because you were blissfully unaware of all the things that should
make you worried or upset. I want to think the world is fair.
That everyone is honest and good. I want to believe that anything
is possible. I want to be oblivious to the complexities of life
and be overly excited by the little things again.

I want to live simple again. I don't want my day to consist of
computer crashes, mountains of paperwork, depressing news, how to
survive more days in the month than there is money in the bank,
doctor bills, gossip, illness, and loss of loved ones. I want to
believe in the power of smiles, hugs, a kind word, truth,
justice, peace, dreams, the imagination, mankind, and making
angels in the snow.

So . . .. here's my checkbook and my car-keys, my credit card
bills and my 401K statements. I am officially resigning from
adulthood.

Hello, I apologize if this email is unwelcome, but I saw you were
interested in seed swapping and seed trading on the web.

I wanted to let you know about my totally free web site
http://www.seedswapper.com created for this very purpose. This
web site is non-commercial. There is no store online, nor is
there any fee to use it.

The seed swapping community has been so wonderful trading seeds
my wife that I just wanted to give something back to
thecommunity.

If you are interested in Seed Swapping, please take a moment and
go to my web site at: http://www.seedswapper.com

At the web site you will find a friendly community and message
area rich in content. Additionally, there is a searchable data
base of seeds that users have posted to trade.

Once again, if you do not trade seeds, I sincerely apologize for
the intrusion.

Thanks for your time,

The fate of the black rhino is featured at this pleasingly
formatted site. It's amazing how easily human beings
unconscionably drive animal species to extinction for no better
reason than that to serve some superstition or ritual - or
perfume or sport. Well-written articles explore issues of
ecology, including gardening tips, bird watching, and an ecology

Secrets of Easter Island

-in their own words-
This is the story of a team of archaeologists and a 75-person
crew who sought to unravel a central mystery of Easter Island:
how hundreds of giant stone statues that dominate the island's
coast were moved and erected. For one month, the team struggled
to raise a 10-ton moai, using only the tools and materials
available to the ancient Easter Islanders.

COOL GOODIES

WOW, look what the Cool Ethers of Cyberspace has to give you!

ZoneAlarm is designed to protect your DSL or cable-connected PC
from hackers. This program includes four interlocking security
services: a firewall, an Application Control, an Internet Lock,
and Zones. The firewall controls the door to your computer and
allows only traffic that you understand and initiate. The
Application Control allows you to decide which applications can
and cannot use the Internet. The Internet Lock blocks Internet
traffic while your computer is unattended or while you are not
using the Internet, and it can be activated automatically with
your computer's screensaver or after a set period of inactivity.
Zones monitor all activity on your computer and alert you when a
new application attempts to access the Internet.

For many of us born around 1960, the decade of the 60's may be
lost in the minds of our parents or those fortunate or
unfortunate to live through this challenging and exciting era in
American History. David Farber has done an excellent job in
assembling a collection of essays on various themes from the

Reviewer: A music fan from Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA
WOW! This collection sounds as good to me now as it did 30 yrs.
ago. The songs, especially the original "Fish Cheer" and
"I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-To-Die Rag" brought back alot of memeries
of simpler times and the ideals of an entire generation. A word
of caution though: Be prepared for some introspection as you
wonder what happened to the ideals we had. It can be very
disturbing. This collection is not just for music fans of the
'60s and '70s. There are a lot of cuts on here that are
definitely the blues. Country Joe... read more at amazon.com.

Editorial Review
Cream's legendary status is extraordinary, given that the three
musicians, Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker, were only
together from 1966 to 1968. This music video collector's DVD
tells the story of that intense period from Cream's inception as
a blues band through psychedelia to their place in The Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame. Rare archive performance footage of complete
tracks (notably from their 1968 appearance at the Revolution Club
in London) are linked by Ginger... read more at amazon.com.
